Choosing the right urn can be quite difficult. You are probably looking for an urn that suits the deceased, but also you and your interior. Lalief’s urns are easy to fill yourself using the instructions provided. Should you be uncomfortable filling the urn yourself, the funeral director or crematory can help with this.
Urns from Lalief are closed in different ways, this depends on the size of the urn. Mini urns can be closed with a screw and allen key provided. Large urns have a lid and can be closed with the included silicone sealant. Large urns come with an ash bag to hold the ashes. All urns come with instructions for use.
A small or symbolic amount of ashes is a small portion of the amount of ashes released during resomination or cremation. A small or symbolic amount of ashes can be chosen if there are several next of kin who want some of their loved one’s ashes or if a portion is scattered.
Lalief’s urns have different types of closures. The screwed urns can be reopened with an Allen key. Bonded urns can be reopened with a sharp knife. When reopening, do take care not to damage the urn.
Basically, urns from Lalief do not require any maintenance. Only a dry cloth should be used for dusting the urn.
Urns from Lalief are suitable for indoor use only.
If you do not feel comfortable filling the urn yourself, you can have the funeral director or crematorium do it for you. Lalief does not offer this option.
At Lalief, it is possible to personalize your urn. Based on your wishes, I will work to create a perfect urn. See some examples of personalized urns here . When making a personalized urn, you do have to deal with a longer delivery time. On average, this takes 4 weeks.
